Phew, what a foliage season.. the leaves put on a fantastic show but the tourists sure did find us! With the garden season now done, and snowflakes in the air, you know we’ll be skiing soon!

Fall Party and Annual meeting

Women’s Ski Program is full

The women’s ski program is now full .. but there are still openings in the Nordic Basics program. See below.

Nordic Basics Program still has openings!

Details are on the website. This seven-session program is for adult beginners who are new to classic cross-country skiing or who have skied some but have not received any formal instruction. Groups will be formed based upon current skiing level.

Youth Winter Program Registration opens November 1

We are offering our Youth Winter program on Thursdays this year. Our Youth Program is geared towards beginning and developing Nordic skiers starting in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Details coming soon on the website

Wax Clinic at Trapp Family Lodge Outdoor Center

Trina and Dave Hosmer are offering a free ski waxing demo on Wednesday, October 21 from 5-6PM in the Yurt. Trina and Dave are passionate about the benefits of properly waxed skis and they will boil it down and show everybody how simple and fast it can be. Their ski resumes include lots of World Championships and even Olympic games so you will be learning from the best. All skis can benefit from wax…for those with fish scales we like to say they are ‘wax less’ not ‘waxless’. RSVP here

Mansfield Backcountry Trail work Days
