Cross Country World Cup at Lake Placid
See the best nordic skiers in the world at Lake Placid at The Stifel Lake Placid Finals which are the championships of the COOP FIS Cross Country World Cup. The event is happening March 19–22, 2026 at Mt Van Hoevenberg in Lake Placid, NY. This historic event marks the culmination of the international cross-country skiing season—and you can be there to witness it all.

SuperTour Finals @ Craftsbury:
Volunteer Opportunity
Craftsbury will be hosting the SuperTour Finals, Friday-Sunday, March 27-29. It’s the last big event of the domestic racing season, and the field is expected to include Olympians and other high-level domestic racers. There’s a Classic Sprint on Friday, a Mixed Relay on Saturday, and a 40k on Sunday. We invite you to join the fun as a volunteer. Tour de Stowe: March 7th
Tour de Stowe: Sunday, March 7th.
Join us for a fabulous tour on some of Stowe’s best Nordic trails. The Tour de Stowe is a non-competitive classic technique ski tour taking place on the gorgeous trails of Von Trapp Family Lodge Resort and Stowe Mtn Resort cross-country centers. This event is intended to be a fun challenge for all ages. The courses will start and end at the Von Trapps Outdoor Center. The 22km course will be a loop and there will be a 14 km cutoff for those who prefer the shorter distance. Registration opening soon.

Join us for our Race to the Cabin on Sunday, March 8, as we all test our fitness on a beautiful, challenging course. As the legendary Larry Damon always said “It’s just one hill.” This is a classic route that measures about 5K with about 800 feet of elevation gain.
The race will start promptly at 9AM with bib pickup from 8-845AM in the Yurt.
The race is for classic technique only (no skating). Racers may have a small drop bag delivered to the cabin with layers for the ski down. All racers will receive one complimentary hot drink at the cabin.
$25 for adults; $15 if under 19 years old
