Hope you got a chance to get out on that November snow at the Notch, your local meadow or golf course. Now we wait… for snow to make a comeback. Here are some suggestions about who you should be sending your “Let it SNOW!!” thoughts to.
Stowe Nordic Club Trips are Back!
Join us for another fabulous club trip to Mont Sainte-Anne. March 9-12th 2023. As usual it will be an all inclusive trip: private lodging for our group right on the ski trails at the Chalet du Fondeur, ski passes, all food and beverages, and luxury coach transportation from Stowe to MSA and back. 40% Season Pass Discount at Stowe Mtn. Resort XC Center.
You will need to be a Stowe Nordic club member by December 15th to be eligible for the discount. So, if you have not renewed your membership or joined the club this year (membership runs from 9/1/22-8/31/23) the time to do it is now. The ski passes will go on sale when the XC Center opens, usually in mid-December, but it depends on conditions.

NENSA Online Auction Ends December 8th.
New England Nordic Ski Association’s annual auction is on until December 8th. Great opportunity to shop for holiday gifts and support New England cross country skiing. NENSA provides programming from racing to introductory programs for youth and adults. Stowe Nordic is an affiliate club. Here is the link to the auction.
Some Things to do While we Wait for the Snow to Return.
Get outside – walk, run, hike, wander in the woods.
Work on your strength, balance or agility – all good for improving your skiing.
Take a trip to Craftsbury – they have a 3k loop open! They not only make a lot of snow, they also buried some (lots) from last season to bolster the snow when mother nature is less than cooperative.
Finish that Christmas shopping – maybe at one of our local sponsors (see below)?
Take break – get ready for the holidays or just relax in any way you choose!
