2017 Adult Mtn Bike Program

STOWE CYCLING – 2017 PROGRAMS

A  STOWE NORDIC  Development Program

The Stowe Cycling development program was founded by the Stowe Nordic coaching team to  provide mountain bike training for all ages and abilities. Our coaching model will provide detailed skills training, live coaching, video analysis and structured ride sessions to enhance skills, endurance, strength, and balance while fostering a team environment.   Training sessions are held in the Stowe area and run throughout the summer.

The Stowe Cycling development program coaching team will be led by Paul McNeil, a USA Cycling Level 3 licensed cycling coach.  In the past, McNeil has worked as a Highland Mountain Bike Park Head Coach and Camp Director and was the founder of Summit Race Management, a company that provided training and sponsorship management for cyclists in Summit County, Colorado.  He has trained hundreds of riders, cycling coaches, bike guides, and bike park staff in coaching and leading youth and adults in  camps such as Freeride, Freeride 2, Slalom, Slopestyle, Cross Country, Enduro and Downhill race camps.

The Stowe Cycling development program is comprised of 4 groups based upon age and ability.  Each group is led by highly experienced coaches who will provide riders with a skills progression pipeline, enabling them to develop in the sport of mountain bike riding.
